About the Author

Angela Kiel Willoughby 


Angela Kiel Willoughby was born in the country near Brussels, Illinois, close to the confluence of the Illinois and Mississippi rivers. Her parents were William and Dorothy (Schmidt) Kiel. She married Joseph Victor Willoughby, and they have four lovely daughters, and nine attractive grandchildren. She worked as a registered labor and delivery nurse. She also studied real estate and the Swedish language. She is a member of environmental and animal concerned groups, being proactive with love for all creatures great and small. Born of soul-wealthy parents, she has embraced the intrinsic worth of every living soul and has eternal love for her family.
She received merit awards for the “Sound of Poetry,” which was included in “Best Poetry of the Year” four times and also in “Celebration of Poets,” a showcase edition.
